Meditation Calms the Mind

Learning the art of meditation can be such a wonderful experience it will help when dealing with stress and the mind chatter to name but a few.  I find it very useful when spending time with the children, I am more patient and calm... and that is definitely a bonus with 3 very active young children.

There are many reasons people turn to meditation and it is my wish that you enjoy the tools and resources I have discovered and share with you.  I love meditating.  Guided Meditation is my favourite both creating and participating in them - perhaps it is because I was such a dreamer when growing up (yes I was the one in class the teacher would always tell to sit up and listen - instead of looking out the window at the clouds and imagining a whole new world) I still am a dreamer and, well honestly, I don't thing it's such a bad thing at all.

Being Quiet In The Moment

This section is for those that have had experience with Meditation in the past or would rather not have the voice of Guided Meditation.  If there is something in particular you wish to meditate on whether that be looking at the flame of a candle, or a particular bit of scenery.  Perhaps you are focusing on manifesting a particular item - a car, house, weight loss or amount of money.  If this is your desire than you may prefer to visualise what it is you're wishing for.  Having said that you may have a problem or issue you are wanting to work through and find that meditation is a great way to still the mind chatter and focus uninterrupted on what that may be for you.  Read more...

Like a Living Dream

With Guided Meditation you have the opportunity to really drop down deep into a meditation and that can, happen quicker for some than others.  When you focus on your breath, the music and the voice of the person leading you through the meditation it can indeed be very rewarding.  Guided Meditations are fantastic if you are good at visualising, visualising anything from a cloud, house, or whatever you prefer.  Read more...
