Music

I thought about whether or not to include a music section - and well to be truthful music to me is a wonderful medium and I really do feel for those who do not have the "SENSE" of hearing.

Music can jog a memory, take you back in time and stir your emotions to name just a few.  It can also be very uplifting and healing.

In the 40 or so years I have been blessed to be here my taste in music has varied.  Today I enjoy a range of music and find that depending on my mood at the time well often that can dictate the music I listen to.

I find that with my daily meditation sometimes I prefer to have no music at all and just to be quiet in the moment.  There are also times when I use music to help take me down I guess you could say into a deeper meditation, this maybe a guided meditation or one I choose to practice on the day.

You will find music for meditation, to uplift your spirits, help the little ones go to sleep or even yourself - smile.  Music to groove to, I love to free dance, and hey it is even better with candles around the room and the lights out, you can really "feel" the music when the lights are out I find that this seems to heighten my sense of sound and helps me to "feel" the music.

Another thing I remember when growing up is that every Sunday the children would gather in a room and all pile into bed and listen to the stories on Sunday mornings one of my favorites was by Spike Milligan "Bad Jelly The Witch" speaking of which I found it not to long ago and my children have listened to it a few times - I have noticed that this generation prefer to be looking at a television or screen when listening to a story - anyway if and when I come across a great narrated children's story I'll either pop it in here or the children's section.  I may even start recording a couple myself and hey if you have any you would like to share with readers and listeners please feel free to email me and we can perhaps do a JV or affiliate deal if we have people wishing to purchase them through my website.
